We prescribe Testosterone Cypionate or Testosterone Enanthate, the two most widely used, clinically validated injectable testosterone esters. Your physician will determine the appropriate compound and dosing protocol based on your labs and health goals. All medications are sourced from licensed 503A compounding pharmacies.

No in-person visits required. Your initial consultation and all follow-ups happen online. We do require bloodwork before prescribing. If you bring your own, it must be a full panel drawn within the last 6 months, including CBC, CMP, thyroid panel, lipid panel, total and free testosterone, estradiol, SHBG and CRP. If you do not have that, choose the labs-included program and we will direct you to a local lab for a quick draw. Our physicians review your labs and health history before issuing any prescription.

Yes. We prescribe clomiphene and gonadorelin in place of testosterone cypionate for patients who are better suited to them, including men who want to raise their own testosterone production rather than replace it, and men with fertility considerations. Your physician will go through which option fits your labs, symptoms and goals during your consultation, and the program price is the same.

If your testosterone is within the normal reference range, your physician will not prescribe TRT. In that case they will talk through what else could explain your symptoms and, where appropriate, point you to another program. You are not charged for a prescription you do not receive.

When properly supervised, TRT is safe and well-tolerated for most men with clinically low testosterone. Common mild side effects include injection site reactions and slight changes in hematocrit (red blood cell count), which are monitored through regular bloodwork. Our physicians tailor dosing to minimize risk and adjust protocols as needed. TRT is not appropriate for men trying to conceive, we discuss this during your consultation. Ref: Calof OM, et al. Most patients notice improved mood, energy, and well-being within 1–2 weeks. Sleep quality and libido typically improve by weeks 3–6. Body composition changes, increased lean muscle and reduced body fat, become noticeable by months 2–3, with full optimization typically reached at the 3–6 month mark. Body composition changes, including reduced fat and increased lean mass, generally become noticeable at 3 to 6 months of consistent treatment. Individual timelines vary based on baseline testosterone levels, protocol, and lifestyle factors. Your testosterone is dispensed by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy as an injectable vial, shipped with syringes and instructions. Most protocols are one or two intramuscular or subcutaneous injections per week, self-administered at home. Your physician walks you through technique and dosing before your first injection.

Orders ship in 5–7 business days from a 503A licensed pharmacy in plain, unbranded packaging with no indication of the contents. Refills are timed so you do not run out mid-protocol.

No. Precision Telemed operates on a month-to-month basis. There are no subscriptions, no long-term contracts, and no cancellation fees. You can pause or stop at any time. We believe you should continue because you’re seeing results, not because you’re trapped.

No insurance required and no membership fee, the price you see is what you pay. HSA and FSA cards are accepted.

TRT can suppress natural sperm production while you are on treatment, but for most men, this effect is reversible. Studies show that sperm production typically recovers within 6 to 18 months after discontinuing TRT, and many men have successfully conceived after stopping treatment. For patients who want to preserve fertility while staying on TRT, your physician may recommend adding HCG or enclomiphene to your protocol, which maintains testicular function alongside testosterone therapy. Your board-certified Precision Telemed physician will review your family planning goals during your consultation and build a protocol designed around them.

TRT can contribute to sleep apnea in some patients, particularly those with pre-existing risk factors such as obesity, large neck circumference, or a history of the condition. This is a known and manageable consideration. Your Precision Telemed physician will review your sleep health history during your intake assessment. Patients with diagnosed sleep apnea are not automatically excluded from TRT: your doctor will weigh the risks and benefits and monitor accordingly.
